WATERLINE INSTALLATION PROJECT TO BEGIN ON DECEMBER 2

South Valley Drinking Water Project Phase 8A and 8B.1 (Project # 3117.00)

Crews will begin a waterline installation project on December 2 to bring safe, reliable municipal water service to your area. Crews will begin on Brooksmoor Drive SW. Road closures will be essential during installation for the safety of the crews, commuters, and the surrounding neighborhood. Access will always be maintained for residents, mail/package delivery service, and trash pick-up. Please use caution and obey all construction signage, slow down, and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Phase 8A and 8B.1 of the South Valley Drinking Water Project is scheduled to be completed in July 2025.

CONNECTING TO THE SYSTEM: Connecting to the new water system is NOT mandatory, but meter boxes will be installed adjacent to all properties in the project area. If you would like to connect to the system after the project is completed, please call 842-WATR (9287) and select Option 3 to set up an account and schedule your connection. Property owners must pay the costs associated with connecting. For more information about financial assistance through Bernalillo County’s PIPE program, click here.
